Anniversary

My mum and dad will be celebrating their 46th wedding anniversary this weekend so I set to making them a special card.  I started by using a grand nestie die to cut the shape of my card, I then used peeloffs to edge the card. I layered a nice paper onto some white card which I then layered onto silver mirror card. I then cut one of my new gold nestie shapes and inked the edges after embossing it. I found the verse among my stamps and thought it ideal for this card. I used the gold nestie die to trace around to create a faux shape to layer my verse onto. After placing all my layers onto my card I added ribbon and gems.

  10. A gorgeous card, Sheila! I'm so impressed with the perfectly applied peel offs around the edge of your card - not sure I could ever do it so impeccably! It's a lovely card. Congratulations to your parents, too! hugs, de
