Glamour
My post for today is my DT sample for My time to craft The theme is 'stitching', my base card is a dl which I haven't done in a long time. I started by using black card for my first layer, then used a backing paper to layer onto that. I then made a small matt of black card and layered it with a contrast paper. I used one of my dies to cut the shape and inked the edges, after stamping my image onto the same paper as one of my layers I mounted it onto my die shape. I added a sentiment, gems and card candi to finish.

Clean and simple
This is my DT sample for MTTC the challenge this week is 'clean and simple' I found this a little hard to do, I always want to add more to my cards. So I chose a smaller card 4x4 with a decorative edge, I then simply stamped a sentiment and used a rub on image I found in my stash.

Someone special
I have been asked to make a card for Audsentiments new challenge 'project for a child with a sentiment' I hope you like what I have made.
My card is 8x8 and I used a backing paper as my first layer, trimmed to leave a little border. I made two matts with a second paper and layered these onto silver mirror card. The image is from Imagine that digi images by Kris I coloured this and then layered it onto lilac pearl card, I attached my two matts then placed my image and sentiment onto my card. Finally to finish I used a die for the border and added gems.

Summer scene
My post for today is something I haven't done for ages. I was looking for challenges to enter and came across Joanna Sheen blog challenge 'come rain or shine', after some thought I decided on making a summer scene as we all could do with some sunshine. I chose to use the Faye Whittaker stamps and cd I have had for a while and not used very much.
My card is an 8x8 easle card, I placed the sky paper on the folded part of the card and placed the beach paper on the inside. I then stamped out my images and coloured, after cutting them out I placed them onto my card using foam pads and added twine for the kite. Very simple but I enojyed making it, hope it brightens your day.

Humphrey
My card today is done using an 8x8 card, my first layer is trimmed slightly to leave a border on my base card. I put my first layer through my calibur using a buttons embossing folder, I then inked the edges. I then stamped my humphrey image and coloured with spectrum noir pens. I used a die to cut out my image and inked the edges, I also created a faux shape with the same die for an extra layer. I put twine over the bottom of the first layer before placing it onto the card. I then put on my image, buttons with twine through and a sentiment to finish off.
